Apparently we’re ‘clickbait’ (but very inefficient if so)

The latest attempt by right-wingers (red and blue varieties) to undermine the SKWAWKBOX appears to be calling it ‘clickbait’. Even the Executive Editor of Conservative Home is getting in on the act (we must be going up in the world):

Clickbait is a pejorative term describing web content that is aimed at generating online advertising revenue, especially at the expense of quality or accuracy

Interesting, then, that if you go to – oh, let’s pick a random example – the Conservative Home site, any page you visit will show two or three ads.

Now look around this page. You should see none – on any of this blog’s pages.

The SKWAWKBOX pays extra to WordPress to remove even WordPress’ own advertising from its pages, because the aim is to make the information as accessible – and as readable when you get here – as…
