Theresa May hid from the public again today, banning reporters from attending – or even watching – her visit to a local business in Cornwall.
The Tory leader has been visiting a firm in St Ives this morning.
But security around the venue is so tightly controlled, local reporters were told they couldn’t stand outside as she arrived or film her departure from on the property.
It’s the latest in a string of stage-managed events in Mrs May’s campaign.
Yesterday she pulled out of a duck race at the last minute when it emerged a small group of NHS campaigners were going to be there.
But the intrepid reporters from our sister site Cornwall Live have continued undeterred – and have been live-blogging everything they’ve not been allowed to do during the Tory leader’s visit.
